3. Prices, plans, and limits can change and may be out of date

Software pricing changes more often than physical product pricing, and the change is often structural rather than numeric — a free tier shrinks, a feature moves behind a higher plan, a per-seat charge appears, an overage fee is introduced.

No statement of price, plan limit, feature availability, free-tier allowance, or vendor term on this site is a warranty of any kind, and we do not guarantee that any figure is current. Every figure in an article reflects what we found in the sources listed at the bottom of that article, on the date printed there. Where we could not verify a claim against a primary source, the article labels it as unverified.

Before you commit money, migrate data, or build a workflow around a tool, confirm the current price, the current limits, and the current terms on the vendor’s own pricing page and in the vendor’s own agreement.

4. We do not claim hands-on use of every tool

We do not hold accounts with, or personally operate, every product we write about, and we never claim that we do.

Our method relies on vendors’ published pricing pages, documentation, help centres, changelogs, status pages, and aggregated user reporting. Where we have used a product, we say so. Where we have not, we do not describe it as though we had.

5. Cost modelling is an estimate, not a quote

Where we model what a tool costs for a given team or traffic level, the result is our arithmetic on stated inputs. It prints its assumptions. It is not a quote, it is not a guarantee, and your actual bill will differ — because of your usage, your region, your currency, your plan, and promotions that did not exist when we wrote.

6. Migrations carry risk

Articles about moving from one platform to another describe what vendors and users report about export formats, data portability, and what needs reconfiguring. We do not perform migrations and we are not responsible for the outcome of one. Export files can be incomplete, automation logic often does not transfer cleanly, and deliverability, SEO signals, and integrations can be affected. Back up everything and test before you cut over.

7. We are paid through affiliate commissions

Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, or practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site, and we may not have reviewed it in full. Check the URL before you enter credentials or payment details anywhere. We will never ask you for the login to any tool we cover.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

This site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including a subscription you regret, a migration that goes wrong, a bill larger than you expected, or a decision you make on the basis of something you read here — arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.
